Mr. Girish Sohani, an alumnus of IIT Bombay and IIM Ahmedabad, is deeply committed to rural and community development. He joined BAIF Development Research Foundation early in his career, contributing to sustainable livelihoods and environmental enrichment. At BAIF, he led initiatives in irrigation, renewable energy, rural agribusiness, and capacity building. He also serves on the boards of several development organizations and has undertaken consultancy for global agencies. His work has taken him to countries like Germany, the Netherlands, and Canada for research and collaborations.
