Panwad Office Inauguration and Women’s SHG Meeting

Shroffs Foundation Trust (SFT) marked an important milestone on 13th February 2026 with the inauguration of its Panwad Office in Karajwat village, followed by a cluster-level meeting with women from Self-Help Groups (SHGs). The event aimed to strengthen community engagement and lay the groundwork for integrated and sustainable development in the Kawant cluster.
Inauguration of Panwad Office  
The program began with the formal inauguration of the Panwad Office by Mrs. Shutiben Shroff, Managing Trustee of SFT. This office will serve as a central hub for coordinating SFT’s development initiatives across the region, including:
  • Agriculture
  • Animal Husbandry
  • Livelihood
  • Health
  • Skill Development
The office will play a key role in planning, monitoring, and implementing programs effectively, ensuring better outreach and impact at the grassroots level.
Women’s SHG Meeting 
Following the inauguration, a meeting was conducted with women SHG members and farmers from the Kawant cluster. The session brought together 142 participants, including 95 women farmers and SHG members. The meeting focused on:
  • Strengthening SHG networks and promoting federation-building
  • Encouraging collective action and leadership among women
  • Creating awareness about livelihood opportunities and income generation
  • Introducing SFT’s long-term development vision for the cluster
The office will play a key role in planning, monitoring, and implementing programs effectively, ensuring better outreach and impact at the grassroots level.

Health Screening Camp  
A health screening camp was also organized during the event. Basic health check-ups were conducted, and necessary guidance and referrals were provided to participants, along with awareness on health and nutrition.

The inauguration of the Panwad Office, followed by the SHG meeting, marks a strong beginning for SFT’s integrated development efforts in the Kawant cluster.
